Hollie Highclere

Our sustainability Journey

The creation of Hollie Highclere products was inspired by the beautiful countryside we are set in, inspired by the nature which surrounds us. We care deeply about protecting and looking after our beautiful planet and take a careful approach when creating our products.

We understand we are not perfect and we are very much on a journey to becoming more sustainable.

Below is the start of our sustainability journey.

We are a small family British company. We hand-made our products in the UK and where possible only use British suppliers to source our ingredients.

Wherever possible we use the highest percentage of natural ingredients and certified organic ingredients to produce our products, together with the use of purest and highest quality essential oils in all our products. All our essential oils are wild crafted and grown sustainably and sourced carefully with integrity.

We produce in small batches so that there is no wastage and the quality of our products is at the best it can be.

We have never and never will test our products on animals.

Are products are packaged in violet biophotonic glass to protect and revitalise the natural ingredients and is 100% recyclable. This glass uses between 20% to 30% recyclable glass, avoiding plastic pollution.

Are Pumps are made from Polypropylene (PP) which means they are 100% recyclable.

The paper to our rope handle bags are 100% recyclable. The rope handle is recyclable apart from the plastic end. The Tissue paper we use is made from 99% recyclable pulp fibres and is fully recyclable.

We are against the use of a non-sustainable palm oil. Our Palm oil used has been confirmed by our suppliers it is sourced only from companies that are members of the RSPO (Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil).

We hope to in the near future offer refills which are a great step towards sustainability as they require less packaging, shipping and prolong the life of our products.

Ingredients we avoid in our products are:

SLS & SLES
Artificial fragrances
colours
Parabens
Silicones
Mineral oils.
